Let us introduce…#00G~DE/CAF

With a cup score of 83 we are thrilled to introduce a new addition to the Lars & Margo Roastery - the #00G~DE/CAF - our first decaffeinated coffee. 

Arriving from Guatemala, this is an interesting new direction for us to take. Listening to our customers, several are asking for caffeine free options. Having set Peter loose on the sample roaster he once again seems to have ‘cracked’ the roast pretty quick…pardon the pun! On my first tasting I was definitely picking up notes of spiced apple crumble. As normally a non-fan of the caffeine free, I have to say…this is a jolly good coffee! Having left it standing for some time and partaking in the cooled version (normal for me!!) I was pleasantly surprised by its most palatable take when cool - definitely a potential for those enjoying iced coffees or for culinary purposes.
